About Sporty FM

Sporty FM (SportyFM Kenya) made history as the country's first dedicated 24/7 sports radio station, broadcasting round the clock for fans who want sport, all the time. A brand of the Sporty Group — the team behind free-to-air sports channel SportyTV — the station launched in Kenya following the brand's earlier success in Ghana, and quickly set out to become the loudest, most fan-focused sports voice on the Kenyan dial.

At its heart is Carol Radull, one of the most respected and influential figures in Kenyan sports media, who leads a line-up that blends seasoned sports journalists with a new generation of emerging talent. The result is a station that goes deep on the sports Kenyans love — the FKF Premier League, the English Premier League, LaLiga, athletics, rugby, the NFL, Formula 1, boxing and MMA — with breaking news, expert analysis, live updates and the kind of unfiltered fan banter that makes sport fun.

Sporty FM is also a modern, audio-visual station: many of its shows are streamed live on video as well as radio, so fans can watch the studio as well as listen. With plans to expand its frequency network countrywide, it's fast becoming a must-listen for the Kenyan sports fan. Through Radio.co.ke you can stream that same live broadcast wherever you are.
