How to Listen to Radio Jambo — Frequencies, Live Stream & Shows

Radio Jambo is Kenya's leading Swahili-language radio station. Radio Africa Group launched it in 2008, broadcasting from Nairobi on 97.5 FM under the rallying call "Ongea Usikike" — Speak and Be Heard. The station runs on Sheng and conversational Kiswahili instead of formal English, and its programming puts callers at the centre: they mediate disputes on air, argue football on air, and vote in on-air debates.

Their signature segment, Patanisho, mediates disputes between callers — feuding couples, estranged friends, family arguments — live on air. The pairing marked seventeen years on the show in November 2025, which puts their start close to the station's own 2008 launch.
